Course Overview
Our goal with this course is to have gastroenterologists learn the current state and treatment updates in the field of hepatobiliary medicine and liver transplantation. As the landscape of hepatology and transplantation is continuously evolving, learning the new updates from skilled and expert teams will be key to staying updated with the current treatment guidelines as well as with the novelties in diagnostics, treatments and future expected developments. This course will increase our gastroenterologists knowledge base by keeping attendees abreast of all new developments, so to best address the increasing needs of our complex hepatobiliary patient population base.
Course Objectives
- Discuss the updates in chronic liver diseases and their management, pertaining to NAFLD, HCV, alcoholic liver disease, AIH, PBC and PSC
